Douz Douz Camel Trek 3 Days/2 Night

Day 1: Late afternoon, when Douz out of its torpor after the torrid  summer heat, we drive to another village Saharan Ghidma. There you are waiting for the Camel team will guide you in this discovery of the desert. On foot or by camel, it's starting to conquer the sea of sand that is on front of you. After about 2 hours, you discover the magic place where you install the bivouac. First dinner around the fire, the first night in a Bedouin tent or the stars ...

· 2nd day: The sun rises early in the summer and you'll certainly much to enjoy the relative cool of the morning. You can discover more precisely the site: an abandoned hamlet sands, a marabou, a few palm trees, a well not far ... and thousands of white sand dunes infinitely thin and soft ...Depending on the heat, the nap will be more or less long. Life awaken again in late afternoon for a new ride or waiting for a beautiful sunset...

· 3rd day: A ray of sunshine and the smell of hot bread will sound the alarm. After a hearty breakfast and loading the camels, you will leave for new horizons dune. By late morning, you discover the distant fort Sabria where we have lunch. After a nap, you can explore the adjoining village before returning to Douz all ...

Douz Douz Camel Trek 4 Days/3 Night

1st day: We find the morning our team in Douz Camel, facing the desert and is starting to conquer the sea of sand that lies before you. On camel or on foot, we walk quietly between "pasture" and white sands. First camp, first dinner around the fire, the first night in a Bedouin tent or the starry sky ...

· 2nd day: We continue our way among the dunes. In the distance, palm trees withered show old documents. We are really in the desert, that of our imagination, both haunting and disturbing ...

· 3rd day: We walk through the dunes interwoven enchanting landscapes always so different. The dunes and go and do not like ... Sometimes soft and enveloping, sometimes steep. Here and there, a few palm trees tend to dry the sky. The white sand is gradually taking the color of the sunset …

Day 4: The dunes are gradually dwindling. In the distance, the large grove of Douz to which we are headed. We reach in the afternoon. Miracle of water in the desert, fresh palm. We will find Douz and its souk around a glass of tea

Things to Take :

A large bag carried by the camel + a small backpack for the day, comfortable clothing, from mild to hot to put on and easily remove shoes / comfortable walking sandals, sleeping bag sarcophagus hot from November to April, a package Basic toiletries, wipes + aid kit, Sun glasses - sunscreen, strong

Camel Trekking

Overnight Camping  1 Night

The trip can be done in 4 x 4 (30 minutes) or camel (approximately 1:30)

Out of Douz, in the late afternoon in 4x4 or camel according to your choice. We leave gradually the palm of Douz to reach the large expanses of white sand. Some dunes are emerging in the distance...

In the desert, we set up camp around a wood fire . While the camel prepare the large Bedouin tent and the cooker prepare collective meal, you can admire the sunset. The night, everyone is around the fire for dinner and usually accompanied by music and singing. Mattresses and blankets are provided for, is an individual choice, one night in tents or under the canopy of a thousand stars. The sunrise and the smell of hot bread baked in the sand ring the alarm. One last shot, still walking in the sand and back on Douz - 4x4 or camel - in the morning

Douz Douz Camel Trek 1 Day

We find our team at 9 am in Douz Camel, last oasis along the desert sand, and it is starting to conquer the sea of sand that is on front of you. On camel or on foot, we walk quietly between "Pastures" and white sands. The preparation of breakfast, bread and tea on the wood fire everyone can enjoy the Desert in his way. After the break, we continued our way among the dunes. Here and there, some dried palm off show old documents. From the top of a dune, we saw off the large grove of Douz. We reach it at the end of the afternoon
